Please join, Bobby Hill, Kim Gentry Justus, Elizabeth Saenger and myself, as we host the lunch time shift beginning at 11:30am, Thursday, April 28th, 2016. Last year, we raised $1,918.00, awesome! You are cordially invited to join your friends, clients, family, and co-workers on Thursday, April 28th 2016, for the 14th annual Dining Out For Life® benefit to support the mission of the Western North Carolina AIDS Project (WNCAP). This year's event is well under way and we again look for your continued support. Our needs are greater than ever this year with federal funding continuing to drop and an increasing number of clients who need our help. Over 115 of the finest restaurants in WNC have generously agreed to donate 20% of their gross sales on April 28th to enable us to meet the expanding needs of WNCAP. You can do your part by simply eating out for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, or take out, or choose a new restaurant for each meal! Please take a look at our Participating Restaurant page for a full list of 2016 locations. We also encourage you to visit our DOFL restaurants all year round and thank them for their kind support. A special thanks to all of our restaurants, sponsors, and diners for making last year's Dining Out For Life® benefit another success story. Over $176,000 was raised to support the mission of WNCAP and, thanks to our generous sponsors, less than 7% of that total went to cover expenses. Because of our generosity we were able to add additional case managers to provide more services to rural areas of WNC, place more clients in housing & expand HIV Rapid Testing and testing locations. Through the efforts of so many giving individuals much needed AIDS awareness and education has been sown throughout WNC, while providing case-managed care to those whose lives have already been affected by HIV/AIDS. Our sincere thanks to our 240 Ambassadors/volunteers for their incredible efforts. We couldn't have done it without you!
